Hi Guys, Here is another nail trio from Physicians Formula the name of this collection is Fashion Icon. This collection has colors that you wouldn't think will go well together but once on the nails it looks spectacular and in fact I got lots of compliments with this trio. **press sample*

As you know me by now can't you tell which one is my favorite? And as you can tell I love dot designs. Like I said in the previous nail trio set these come with no names. The yellow is very bright and pretty and is very streaky, once I applied topcoat over it, it smoothed out. The blue has a nice formula. The green is an army green which I was surprised it looks good with the other 2 colors, it too has a good formula. I used 2 coats for all the colors.

Physicians Formula Endless Color Custom Nail Trio, Swatches and Review

Hi Guys, Physicians Formula has new Endless Color Custom Nail Trios Collections. Each set has 3 colors. Today, I'm sharing with you the Trendsetter Chic Collection. **press sample**

They have no names (bummer), this trio has a purple, periwinkle blue which are cremes and a navy blue with shimmer.

Here is how it's packaged

You can pop the bottles off and pop them back on

On the package it gives some suggestions on designs you can do with the trios. What a thoughtful idea which is good for beginners!

I choose to do a dot design

The perwinkle blue is a one coater but I used 2 coats and the rest of the colors only needed 2 coats as well. The formula is good. It does take some getting use to the brush since it's a small bottle it has a short brush.

These trios are great to take with you while traveling or good to give as gifts. I have seen these trio's at my local Walmart Store.

Red Carpet Manicure | Gel Polish Starter Kit, Review

Hi Guys, I have been wanting to try a gel polish system so I am excited to share with you my experience using the Red Carpet Manicure Gel Polish. The Starter Kit has everything you need to get started.

The kit contains:

Portable Light that is a battery operated led light

Prep: Max adhesion sanitizer which dehydrates the nail plate for maximum product adhesion.

Purity: Pre & Post application cleanser. It removes residue and cleanses the surface of the nail.

Structure: Base Coat Gel bonds to the nail plate without any damage. Secures color.

Brilliance: Seal & Shine Top Coat Gel, Seals the application to a high shine.

Revitalize: Nourishing Cuticle Oil. Rehydrates the cuticle and the surrounding the nail.

Led Gel Polish: Applies like polish and available in many gorgeous shades.

Erase: Gel Polish Remover. Removes gel polish application in 10-15 mins.

Step 1-Preparation:

1. Push back cuticles by using an orangewood stick

2. Shape the nails to your desire shape by using an emery board.

3. Prepare the surface of the nail by gently removing the shine from the nail using a buffer.

4. Using Purity pre & post place a small amount on a lint free pad or nail wipe and wipe the nail to remove excess dust or oil.

5. Lightly brush on the Prep adhesion sanitizer from cuticle to free edge. (The prep evaporates quickly)

Step 2-Care & Color:

1. Apply a very thin coat of Structure base coat gel from cuticle to free edge and seal the free edge.

2. Place fingers under the portable light for 1 min.

2. Apply very thin coats of gel polish from cuticle to free edge sealing the free edge. To cover my nail line I used 4 coats. Each coat place fingers under the portable light for 3 mins.

3. Brush on a very thin coat of Brilliance Seal & Shine topcoat from cuticle to free edge sealing free edge.

4. Place fingers under the portable light for 2 mins.

Step 3-Finish:

Simply remove the sticky residue from the surface of each nail. Place a small amount of Purity Pre & Post cleanser on a lint free pad and wipe the surface of the nail from cuticle to free edge.

When I did the finishing step the color came off onto the lint free pad. I did all the steps. My guess is that I needed to leave my fingers under the light longer then 3 mins each. Since the color came off it also came off the tips of my nails as you see here. (The photos makes it appear worse then it looks in real life)

According to the instructions apply all the steps to 4 fingers and then do the thumbs last. I put my thumbs under the light for 4 mins. for each coat of color and 3 mins for the topcoat. After I wiped off the tacky layer I only got a little of the gel polish on my pad and my free edge was not exposed like my other fingers. So my conclusion is that maybe the portable light is not strong enough or I need to keep my fingers under the light for more then 4 mins each. I'm also wondering since my nails aren't flat maybe the light didn't get to the sides of my nails.

I do like the system and I will be trying it again but next time with a better Led lamp.

This is what my nails look like after 7 days of wear.

It wore very well no chipping my free edge look the same from day one. You can see a little nail growth at the cuticle area.

Removal:

Per the instructions it states to buff off the topcoat layer. I didn't want to take a chance on damaging my nails so I didn't buff . I did a test just on one nail, I placed Erase gel polish remover on a piece of white felt placed it on my nail and sealed it with a piece of aluminum foil. The directions says to leave it on for 10-15 mins. but I left it on for 20 mins. Yeah! all the polish crumbed right off my nail.

(sorry about my yellow stained nail)

Cons:

1. I wished the portable light had a timer on it. I had to use a stop clock.

2. Wasn't pleased when removing the tacky layer because the gel polish came off and exposed my free edge.

Pros:

1. Love the shine of my nails for a full 7 days and the gel polish did not chip.

2. The removal was very easy and it did not damage my nails.

Salon Perfect Neon Collision | Zapped

The other day I went to another Walmart on my journey to look for the rest of the Salon Perfect Neon Collision Collection. I showed you Shocked here . Lo and Behold I found more but not the entire line. Are they selling that fast?? I picked up 3 of them. Now I have to go on another hunt and try and find Bang and Kaboom before they are completely sold out! Kaboom is the one I'm dying to find the floam looking one.

Zapped, a lime green and blue glitter in a jelly clear base. It's more green then blue. It dries to a textured matte. This one didn't apply the same as Shocked. It took 3 coats to cover but it left bare spots and I didn't want to add a 4th coat because it would have been to thick. I think it looks like colored cornmeal. Lol! Maybe next time if I decide to wear it again I'll thin it so it can cover and look better.

I added Seche Vite topcoat it looks so much better and it looks even better in real life.

Essence Fruity | One Kiwi A Day

Hi Guys, I have a lovely polish that I am so happy that I now own. And of course I never found them at my local Ulta stores. There are 5 in the collection and I own two of them thanks to a lovely lady from Makeupalley.

I could eat a piece of Kiwi right now. This polish looks good enough to eat doesn't it? Kiwi A Day is a very pretty light lime green creme with a gold subtle shimmer and emerald green shiny glitters mixed in. Used 3 coats.

Do you own One Kiwi A Day? Do you have the entire collection?

Perwinkle Blue and a Neon Glitter

While in Walgreens I noticed SinfulColors had a new collection named Sail La Vie. Everytime SinfulColors comes out with a new collection I have to check them out. I only picked up 2 colors that interest me. One of them is a very pretty periwinkle blue creme.

It's Sail La Vie the same name as the collection. My pictures isn't giving it justice. I've been saying that alot lately, it's so hard to capture brights and neons. I used 2 coats of Sail La Vie over a basecoat. I got a few bubbles which was my fault not the polish. You see I suffer from hot flashes and when I'm warm my polish bubbles on me :/

Darling Diva Sugar Rush, SinfulColors Sail La Vie

After a few hours passed I decided to layer on some glitter so I chose Darling Diva Sugar Rush a gorgeous neon glitter with pink, green, blue, purple and gold in a clear base. I dabbed it on spreading out the glitters.

Look Book | Purple and Black

Hi Guys, I have another look to show you from the Nicole By OPI Gumdrops Collection. Featuring A-Nise Treat and I Lilac Gumdrops.

This is simply done, I layered on 2 coats of A-Nise Treat after it dried only in the center I layered on 2 coats of I Lilac Gumdrops exposing the black on the sides of my nails.

Look Book | Pink and Blue Makes Purple

Hi Guys, I have been playing around with my Nicole By OPI Gumdrops Collection. Featuring Blue-Berry Sweet On You and Candy Is Dandy.

After I applied Blue-Berry Sweet On You (cute name) before it dried completely I layered on top one coat of Candy Is Dandy and I got a purple-lish hue. I think it looks fabulous!

KB Shimmer Summer 2013 Collection, Swatches and Review

Hi Guys, Today I'll be sharing with you 3 out of 9 polishes from the KB Shimmer Summer 2013 Collection. Bright bold summer colors and glitters. **press sample**

Blinded By The Bright, Grayscale, It's Razz-ical

Blinded By The Bright, a neon yellow crelly with orange, green, red, purple and yellow gold glitters in multiple sizes. Great formula, easy application. I used 3 coats and applied KB Shimmer Clearly On Top topcoat. My photos are a little brighter then what it shows in real life.

Grayscale, Multiple sizes of black and white glitter with some gray glitters thrown in. First time seeing grey glitter...awesome! I applied one generous coat over Sinful Colors Anchors Away a peach/orange creme (My camera didn't like it sorry it's showing up yellow) followed with one coat of KB Shimmer Clearly On Top topcoat. From seeing so many black and white glitters in a clear base it's nice to have one with extra color. I do wish there were more gray hexes added in, it's hard to see them on the nail .

It's Razz-ical, Magenta pink with pink holographic glitter. Beautiful!! It covers well in 2 coats and dries to a satin finish. I applied KB Shimmer Clearly on Top topcoat which is awesome by the way. My photos aren't giving this one justice. Look at the bottle pics that's what it looks like after adding topcoat.
