Getcha Nails Did Did a post on polish that's pretty ugly. I thought it was pretty interesting that how some polishes can very well be pretty, and ugly at the sametime. Me, I love all colors and in my humble opinion even though it might not be a color that you readily pick up to wear often, you just might have a jazzy outift or even a simple scarf that will make that pretty ugly polish shine! When Dollar Tree had the SH polishes I picked up every color I could get my little hands on. Today, pretty ugly is SH Hard as Nails with nylon

The application was smooth and buttery!! I think I used 2-3 coats.
Looks like an army green color to me.
It also looks like split pea soup...hmm I like split pea soup. lol!!
I'm sure you have in mine what this looks like....be nice. Lol!!
So, What pretty ugly polishes do you have? It's the weekend, enjoy and if you're going shopping have a good nail polish shopping day and don't pass up those pretty ugly polishes! (*_*)

I can't think of any pretty ugly polishes that I have but I bet if I thought they were pretty ugly I'd probably not keep them .lol
ReplyDeleteI saw that post and wanted edgy cream and forsythia. Does dollar tree still have them or is that ancient history now? Can honeydew still be found?
ReplyDeleteThis is neither pretty nor ugly. I'm not sure if polishes possess inherent ugliness. I know some things look awful on me. Orange. I need blue tones in a polish to make my skin look less lobster-ish.

I cannot believe we just posted very similar colors but for the same reason!! Too funny!! Your polish is not half as ugly as mine was - YUK!! I think oscar the grouch would like our greens and wouldn't be so grumpy anymore if he had our colors!! :-) Grea mani and this is not ugly at all - odd maybe - but not ugly!! :-)

I don't think this is ugly. Some polishes can be ugly all by themselves (chill factor, for one), but this is a nice color, the only way it would look bad is if it wasn't good on someone's skin, but it looks fine here! For art's sake, I wonder what it'd look like with a gold konad...

ReplyDeleteThis color is awesome. Green is my favorite color no matter the shade. While it's not a shade you would immediately reach for at the store, it's certain a unique beauty!
