Blue Monday...Barielle JUNE BUG...Aw, sooo unique!

Blue Monday By Annie Lee

Today, I have a very unique polish to show you at least its unique to me. June Bug is from the WildFlower Collection 6 in all.  I missed out on this awesome collection (kicks dirt).  Blue/grey with a flash of teal shimmer and flecks of fuchsia glitter.  Doesn't that sound awesome! Seen several swatches of it, want it, but never purchased it.  A fellow blogger JennyKaye sent it to me as a raok.  Thanks Jenny! ^_^

Great application used 2 coats, this polish didn't have much of a shine. Used top coat David that was sent to me as a raok.  Thanks Renee!  ^_^

BB COUTURE...Skipper and Intake Valve!

It's Feel Good Friday and do I feel good.  Woo Hoo!  Oh,  have I waited for this looong weekend.  Aren't you glad you are off from work on Monday?  Be careful now.  I may be going to Webster Flea Market on Monday, but don't know for sure.  ^_^.

I have a couple of goodies to show you BB Couture's Skipper from the Butterfly Collection and Intake Valve from the Men's Mechanics 101 Collection.  These polishes are 4 in one with base coat, top coat, nail strengthener and color in one bottle.  Contains No: Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP!

Skipper butterflies...I love butterflies

Skipper is a pink creme that has a flash of bright pink shimmer.  Can't see it on the nail, but certainly can see it from the bottle. My camera wouldn't pick it  up.  I squealed while applying.  It was smooth as butter. Used 3 coats to make sure my VNL wasn't showing.

                                         Skipper

Intake Valve.  I've heard of the term listening to my father talking about cars.  Didn't know what it was or the purpose of it so here is a picture of it.  Not much, I thought it would have been a big piece of equipment.  What I know...nothing about mechanics. Lol!

My DH was willing to let me swatch Intake Valve on him, didn't have time....but maybe next time ^_^

                                           Intake Valve

Very smooth application taupey, mushroomy creme flash of gold...see it from the bottle. I love these type colors.  Used 3 coats to get an even application.

These and the rest from the collection can be purchased here at Over All Beauty and  Kim will be glad to help you.

Have a great long weekend and keep those Nails Beautiqued ^_^

MAC LE Pret-a-Papier Collection 2010...Brown Bag and Originality

Good Morning!  I hope you are doing well ^_^   Mannequin hands or Nude?  Which one do you prefer?  Me I rather say Nude.  I heard not so good things about Mac's Nail Polish.  Well, let me tell you with this collection the formula is GREAT no application issues what so ever.  1st coat opaque used 2 coats.

I love brown bag, it is a creme with a slight shimmer in the bottle and while applying but, seem to disappear once dried.
See the shimmer in the bottle

                        Originality...Love It!! Copper Flakie Foil!
Sorry about the shadow,  much prettier irl

Shiny, flakie goodness!!

blurred to see the shimmer
Did you get this collection? I sure hope you did because if you didn't you are missing a couple of good polishes. As always have a great nail polish day!

NYX Paradise...Will you be with me in Paradise?

It's hump day Wednesday and today I have on NYX Paradise. Paradise makes me think of beautiful gardens of green trees, flowers,  bright sun and  blue skies.  Looks like a duochrome.  Paradise was quite thin took 4 coats. If I had known before  hand would have used a darker base to hid my visible nail line.

Darker version but above true color

up close shot of the prettiness

So, there you have it.  Have a wonder Wednesday and keep those nails beautiqued  ^_^

CND Crimson Sparkle over China Glaze Peachy Keen!!

Good Morning to you!  It's another Terrific Tuesday.  Glad that Monday is over...aren't you? (Phew) Can you believe this month is almost over? I enjoyed Peachy Keen so much I didn't want to take it off.  I wanted to try one of my CND sparkles.  Don't see much blogging about these anymore.  Ha!!  Am I late to the game?  Well,  I layered this gorgeous multi shimmer over top of the creamsickle color and wanted to share it with you.  Please enjoy ^_^

You really can see the sparkle on my thumb

Isn't it stunning? Look at the sparkle goodness!
♥♥♥

Do you have any of the CND sparkles?  Which ones do you have?  Do you have a favorite?
Keep polishing,  making your nails beautiqued ^_^

Good Morning it's Blue Monday...China Glaze Bahamian Escape

                                      Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning too you!  I sure had a great weekend and I sure hope you did too.  The weather here in the sunshine state is really hot.  I guess that's why they refer it as such. Duh!  I believe on Saturday it was in the 90's.  Sometimes you still feel the heat in the car even though the AC is on blast!  Well enough of that.  On this blue morning I am featuring China Glazes Bahamian Escape from the 2008 Winter Blues Collection.  This is a wonderful collection with various shades of blue.  It's a bright sky blue creme.  Great formula only needed 2 coats.

Color irl is a little brighter then what's showing
But...for some  reason irl the bottle color is lighter then when applied on the nail.

                                   Picture is showing true color

So there you have it.  I have to show the rest of the collection coming soon. Until next time have a great nail polish day!

It's Flip Flop and Strappy Sandal Season!

It's that time of year where we walk on sandy beaches or take a stroll in the park or  at the malls wearing our cute flip flops or strappy sandals.  So, what does that mean? We have to have our feet in check, don't want to look  like we have been kicking flour. Lol!!  We have to Moisturize, Moisturize, and Moisturize...don't you agree?

I love using my Ped egg it gets rid of the excess dry skin making  heels smooth and soft. (Don't scrape too much off now)  Sometimes you might have to use a callous remover. This item should be used with care as you can hurt yourself while you are removing the callous. Use the plane to gently cut off the dead, thick skin on the callous so that it can be rubbed with a moisturizer to prevent the hard regrowth of the callous.  (I found my callous remover at Dollar Tree)

As far as moisturisers I haven't found a staple yet.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I hope you enjoyed this post now let's start wearing our flip flops and sandals...Whose jumping in the pool?
Have a great nail polish day (^_^)

China Glaze Up and Away...Light as Air and Peachy Keen, Hmm!

It's Fantastic Friday and coming up is the weekend. Boy do  I live for the weekend . ^_^  Today I am featuring 2 from the Up and Away Collection.  The rest will be shown at a later date. I love this collection its luscious pastel gorgeousness.

                                                 Light as Air
Creme...Gorgeous dusty lavender. First coat was a bit streaky. The 2nd coat evened out the application.

Peachy Keen
Creme...Makes me think of a cream sickle hmm! Formula was streaky. I applied the first 2 coats thin and the 3rd coat thick to get an even application.
